Hi everyone. Thanks for checking out verymeri. This blog is meant to share stories of kids as they relate to verymeri. I recently heard a great little story about Isabella Garvey, age 6, one of the potential honorary verymeri designers. You can see her tee on the voting page of www.verymeri.com. She did the peace design. Her mom Molly emailed to tell me that Isabella has been making little flyers and passing them out to her neighborhood in an effort to get more votes for PEACE. I thought that was pretty cool.
Molly also had this to say "Isabella is more than thrilled to have her peace t shirt as a contender. When I told her today, she ran to two neighbors to tell them to vote, and called several people. I've never seen her so excited. Then at dinner, she asked to light the shabbat candles to say a prayer (on Wednesday!). I went with it. I told her that it wasn't about winning, but it was still great to see her excitement."
It's great to see kids feel excited about their art and participate in the fun that is verymeri!
